The Vertex Standard FNB-V104LI is a high capacity Lithium Ion battery pack which is sold as an upgrade to the standard battery that comes with your VX-231 UHF and VHF 5 watt radios. 

The FNB-V104LI is an incredible 2000 mAh battery that has a run time of 16.5 hours (13.5 hours w/o saver). 

The standard battery pack for the VX-231 is the FNB-V103LI.
